John Katers

John Katers is the dean of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology (CSET) at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB).

Since starting with UWGB, Katers has been employed as a recycling specialist, a faculty member in Natural and Applied Sciences (NAS) and chair of NAS before becoming dean of CSET.

Katers’ formal training is in environmental engineering and his research experience includes projects related to waste management, alternative fuels and anaerobic digestion.
