KAUKAUNA – The Heart of the Valley Metropolitan Sewerage District (HVMSD) continues making progress on its Interceptor Rehabilitation Project this fall, with crews now applying protective coatings to manholes and structures in Riverside and Heesakker parks.

HVMSD Director Brian Helminger said they are pleased to see the project moving closer to completion.

“The team is working diligently to restore parks and public spaces while ensuring the long-term durability of the interceptor system,” he said. “We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation throughout this process.”

Once restoration is complete in Riverside and Heesaker Parks, Helminger said crews will transition work to Doyle Park and Island Park to finalize interceptor work and restoration within these parks.

Helminger said HVMSD is committed to completing the remaining tasks efficiently while minimizing impacts to the community.
