Rich Palzewic

Rich Palzewic has been a staff writer for The Business News since August 2022. Formerly, he was the sports editor of The Press Times newspaper and a correspondent for the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Growing up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on 162 acres with six sisters, he graduated from Stephenson High School in 1990 and received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northern Michigan University in 1995. Teaching the sixth grade in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, from 1996-2007, he also earned a master’s degree in education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2004. He has a daughter, Francesca, who he enjoys spending time with. In his spare time, he also likes to bike, cross-country ski, play pickleball, hike and be outside.
