Zach Popp

Zach Popp is the founder and CEO of Sativa Building Systems Inc.
Since 2018, Sativa Building Systems has pioneered hemp-based building technology and has paved the way for market adoption by pursuing the first ICC-ES code-approved hempcrete product for use in all 50 states.
Sativa is also an Army SBIR award recipient and as part of that project, Sativa successfully prototyped a fully bio-based hemp-mycelium insulation for walls.

Before founding Sativa Building Systems, Popp worked as a dean of enrollment in the technical college system and ran his own small fitness business in Milwaukee.

He has a master’s degree in business administration, with a focus on management and strategy.
