FOND DU LAC – The Agnesian HealthCare Foundation has received a donation of 6,000 pairs of socks from Bombas, which Deb Winterhack – foundation director of development – said will be distributed to individuals served by SSM Health Samaritan Clinic, Adult Day Services, hospice and cancer care services, behavioral health, emergency departments, long-term care facilities and SSM Health Treffert Studios.
Bombaa, an apparel company founded in 2013, is a donation-based business focused on addressing clothing needs among individuals experiencing homelessness.
For every item purchased, the company donates a specially designed clothing item to someone in need.
Winterhack said this marks the third year the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation has received a sock donation through its partnership with Bombas.
She said the socks will be shared with patients and community members receiving care and services across multiple programs, particularly during colder months.
