FOND DU LAC – The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac celebrated the completion of upgrades to its Gnewuch Family FLEX Auditorium with a ribbon-cutting ceremony during its Museum Music Medley event.
CEO Andrea Welsch said the enhancements include a new performance stage, theatrical curtain, upgraded audiovisual technology and permanent donor recognition.
Welsch said the auditorium has served museum guests since 2021, but recent investments have expanded its capabilities as a performance and community gathering space.
“The Gnewuch Family FLEX Auditorium represents far more than a performance venue,” she said. “It is a place where children find their voices, families create lasting memories, educators inspire curiosity and our community comes together through music, learning and celebration.”
Welsch said the project recognizes the legacy of the Gnewuch family, whose support helped create a flexible space designed for children’s programming, performances and community events.
The auditorium, she said, is available for rental by schools, nonprofits, businesses, youth groups and other community organizations for meetings, celebrations, performances and educational programming.
