MENASHA – Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI), an engineering, construction, manufacturing and clean energy firm, received the first-place award from The Builders Safety Excellence Awards for going above and beyond the industry standards to create a safer work environment.

Rocky Rowlett, vice president of safety at FTI, said the firm received the first-place award in the subcontractor category for companies exceeding 500,000 work hours at the 2025 Midwest Construction Safety Conference (MCSC) that took place in Blue Springs, Missouri, in early March.

According to the announcement, the Builders Safety Excellence Awards program recognizes companies with elite safety and health programs, closely evaluating their commitment to safety, occupational health management and risk management – considering factors such as management commitment, employee participation, training, hazard identification and safety program innovation.

In 2024, Rowlett said FTI concluded the year with a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of 0.20, with more than nine million work hours, which is significantly lower than the industry TRIR average of approximately 2.4.

“Safety is embedded in everything we do at FTI, from comprehensive training programs to innovative safety initiatives that drive continuous improvement,” he said. “This award is a testament to the dedication of our teams who work every day to maintain the highest safety standards.”
