La Crosse-based grazing board business owner wins 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year

APPLETON – Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc.’s renovation of Chilton Elementary School has earned an Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin 2024 BUILD Wisconsin Award in the Commercial – Renovation category.
Matt McGregor, Hoffman’s director of project management, said the remodel of the 36,000-square-foot elementary school began in May 2024 with the conclusion of the school year and was completed in just 83 days, prior to the start of the 2024-25 academic year.
McGregor said the renovation included refreshing the school’s primary entrance, adding new classrooms and learning spaces and incorporating a large central skylight.
“Our close collaboration throughout the entire project enabled us to plan and execute a successful renovation that was not only completed during one summer but has impressed the community with the results,” McGregor said. “We’re honored to receive this recognition from our industry peers.”
The AGC of Wisconsin is a professional trade association for the commercial construction industry in the state.
