FOND DU LAC – SSM Health plans to build a new senior living community on Fond du Lac’s east side to expand care options for older adults in the region.
Denise Gloede – SSM Health president of continuum of care – said the 180,000-square-foot campus will include independent living apartments, assisted living, memory care and high-need assisted living services.
Gloede said construction is expected to begin in early 2027, with the community opening to residents in 2028.
She said the project is being developed in partnership with ElderSpan Management and includes land donated by the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes.
Gloede said the new campus will provide a continuum of care designed to promote independence and offer personalized support for residents.
“Its thoughtful design will improve workflows so that caregivers can even more efficiently focus on providing for residents’ needs,” she said.
