FOND DU LAC – SSM Health is supporting the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac through a $10,000 donation.
The gift will help several year-round programs that address health and wellness development among children by learning through play.
Specific programs that will benefit from this assistance include Garden Club (nutrition and physical activity), Super Saturday (mental health and violence prevention) and Screen Free Week (mental health and physical activity).
This latest SSM Health contribution continues the ongoing collaboration with the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac to creatively address the community’s critical health needs, Andrea Welsch, executive director, said.
“We have appreciated working with SSM Health to develop innovative exhibits and programs, especially those related to health and wellness,” she said. “We continually look for new and innovative strategies to reach all children in the community, regardless of their ability to pay fees. As a result, we provide education to children and their ‘grown-ups,’ inspiring them to make healthy decisions and form healthy habits.”
SSM Health’s partnership with the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac has been in place since 2006.
