SHEBOYGAN – Adults are invited to embrace play and nostalgia at the ninth annual Tastefully Childish Fundraiser, from 6-10 p.m. Sept. 12, hosted by Above & Beyond Children’s Museum.

Cate Tinker, executive director of Above & Beyond Children’s Museum, said during the 21-plus event, the museum is transformed into a playground for grown-ups, featuring food and drink stations with childhood classics reimagined by local chefs and beverage partners.

“We’re thrilled to invite the community to rediscover the magic of play at this unique, adults-only evening,” she said. “This event perfectly captures our mission – fostering exploration, imagination and joy through immersive play – while celebrating the incredible culinary talent right here in Sheboygan.”

This year’s vendors featuring savory bites are Stefano’s Slo Foods, Johnsonville, The Black Pig, Nourish Farms, Whistling Straits, Uptown Slice, Lakeland University, Legend Larry’s, Lakeshore College, Umi Sushi and Andres Araujo.

Sweet Treats will be featured from Baron’s Gelato, Mini and Me Desserts and The Bakery of AspenOak.

Unique beverages – alcoholic and non-alcoholic – will be available from 3 Sheeps Brewing, Biggby Coffee, Sip and Story, Lakeside Pepsi, Awakening and J. Lohr Vineyards and Wines.

Tinker said Tastefully Childish also marks the official debut of the museum’s new Share and Care Vet Clinic – a hands-on exhibit that allows kids to roleplay as veterinarians while learning about empathy, animal wellness and responsibility.
