MENOMONIE – Money Magazine recently named the University of Wisconsin-Stout (UW-Stout) to its 2024 Best Colleges list, focusing on affordability and student outcomes.
UW-Stout was named one of the top 94 in the nation and one of the top 45 in the Midwest.
Frank said UW-Stout has long been a higher education standout in student outcomes, with:
- A 99% employment rate for recent graduates
- A best-in-the-region average starting salary of $58,000 for graduates
- More than 55 Fortune 500 employers who hired recent graduates
Overall, Frank said UW-Stout received 4.5 stars out of a possible five-star rating – with Money Magazine citing its “classroom-to-lab curriculum” with three times as many labs and studio spaces as classrooms and “built-in opportunities for hands-on learning and undergraduate research” as highlights of the university.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison is the only other public university in the Badger State that was named to the lists.
