EAU CLAIRE – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (UWEC) has been named to The Princeton Review’s annual list of best regional colleges in the Midwest – the fifth consecutive year the university has made the list.
The Princeton Review’s “2025 Best Colleges: Region by Region” lists 631 colleges in the Midwest, Northeast, South, Southwest, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, West and International zones that the national education services company considers “academically outstanding and well worth consideration in your college search.”
UWEC is one of four Wisconsin public universities on the list of 151 colleges in the Midwest and one of just six public universities among the 24 listed from Wisconsin and Minnesota.
The Princeton Review list is based completely on student survey results.
Comments from UWEC students mentioned Eau Claire is a great college town; dorm life at UWEC is amazing; and there are many study abroad programs and graduate-level research for undergraduates.
