Hello, welcome, and thanks for joining us for our intro to The New Business Review Podcast. I’m Megan Dickman-Renard, the publisher of The Business News, and I’m proud to be your host as we explore some of the incredible thought leaders we have in Wisconsin. The New Business Review is one of the special publications put together by The Business News, and it’s a publication geared towards showcasing the innovation and thought leadership we have right here across the state. Bringing together primarily contributors from the three regions and 43 counties that we serve, Northeast, North Central and West Central Wisconsin, we’ve tackled topics like place making, technology and evolution, sustainability and building capacity and scale. As we enter the third year with this publication, we’re excited to bring you an accompanying podcast, thanks to our podcast sponsor, Nicolet National Bank, that will give us the opportunity to go deeper with some of our contributors as they share their unique perspectives and strategies on each theme. Over the rest of Q1 you’ll hear about topics related to our first theme of the year, tradition and transition. Here, we’ll learn from businesses and community leaders as they share how to balance the stability and history of tradition while looking to the future and moving towards new possibilities, from building a brand to finding inspiration and foundational values, from the challenges of growing ginseng, as markets evolve and globalization changes, impact to businesses that are built around restoration and preservation of the past. We’re going to share when to balance, when to restore, and when to evolve the traditions that got us to today. Join as we explore each theme this year together through the voices of those who are building businesses and making an impact in our area every day. Subscribe online or find us on our website, at thebusinessnews.com, and look for new episodes in your feed soon you.
