Steve Van Remortel

Steve Van Remortal is chief strategist and talent advisor at Stop the Vanilla, LLC – which he founded in 1999.

Prior to that, Van Remortal led a manufacturing company from $4.5 million to $30 million in sales in five years and learned first-hand that people-related issues are the No. 1 issue limiting company growth.

He later founded MyTalentPlanner, Inc., a software that enables SMBs t o develop talent plans to attract, hire, develop and retain talent.

Van Remortal earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and organizational communications from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a master’s degree in strategic management from Wayne State University.

He is also a certified professional behavioral analyst in four behavioral sciences.
