CLINTONVILLE – EAA Chapter 1710 has launched a new hands-on aviation initiative with its first Hi-Max aircraft build night held at Clintonville Municipal Airport, bringing together local pilots, builders and aviation enthusiasts.
According to EAA Chapter 1710 leadership, the project centers on assembling a Hi-Max experimental aircraft kit and is designed to provide education, mentorship and practical experience in aircraft construction while encouraging interest in general aviation.
Chapter members said the effort is intended to strengthen community involvement and inspire future aviators through collaborative, skill-building sessions.
Build nights will continue on the first Wednesday and third Tuesday of each month from 5-8 p.m. at the Clintonville airport.
Community members interested in aviation or aircraft building are invited to participate as the project progresses.
