Nicolet College to offer culinary program this summer at no cost

RHINELANDER – Nicolet College will offer a Culinary Career Essentials program this summer at no cost to participants.

Vicki Mendham, culinary arts teacher at Nicolet, said the program is designed to equip students with strong kitchen skills and cooking techniques for successful careers in the food service industry.

“Our program is designed to provide students with the essential knowledge they need to succeed in a professional kitchen,” Mendham said.

Classes will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 21-28 and July 8-26. Upon completion of the courses, students will have the opportunity to participate in paid work experiences – spanning three to four weeks – starting in August.
