SHEBOYGAN – For the first time, 3 Sheeps Brewing is showcasing artwork designed by Sheboygan South High School art students on its craft root beer cans.

3 Sheeps Marketing Communications Manager Josh Aschenbach said the label features cartoon-like sheep tubing down “really cool waterslides” – a nod to the brewery’s very first beer release.

The scene, he said, also includes sheep lounging in the green space outside a sketched version of the 3 Sheeps taproom.

Aschenbach said he encouraged the students to embrace the nostalgia of root beer – pushing them to refine their designs through multiple iterations.

“I was hard on them,” he said. “Every little detail mattered.”

The students embraced the challenge, Aschenbach said – working diligently under the guidance of Sheboygan South Art Teachers Kevin Bazan and Brian Sommersberger.

Another first for the brewery, he said the label will include a removable sticker embedded within the label design, making it both interactive and collectible.

3 Sheeps will donate proceeds from root beer sales to the Sheboygan South High School Art Department, Aschenbach said.

The exclusive soda will be available in four packs while supplies last at the 3 Sheeps taproom.
