MENASHA – Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI), a construction company in Menasha, was recognized with a sustainability award by the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork™ – the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation.
Wade Leipold, executive vice president at FTI, said the company applied Rockwell Automation technologies at its digester facility in Dane County.
The manure from more than 4,000 cows is collectively processed to produce renewable natural gas (RNG).
Leipold said the biogas is captured and further processed into RNG to offset the use of fossil fuels.
The RNG, he said, is then injected into the pipeline near Madison, where it provides clean-burning vehicle fuel, reducing emissions by more than 13,500 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent per year.
The Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork Innovation Awards honor the achievements of organizations that have successfully planned and executed solutions in one or multiple areas of their business through the application of Rockwell and other partners’ digital and disruptive technologies.
“Our industrial automation expertise combined with Rockwell Automation’s global capabilities and experience provides our customers with innovative solutions to reach their business goals,” Leipold said.
