APPLETON – Mosaic Family Health has opened a brand-new clinic in downtown Appleton that provides a full range of medical care for patients.
Per the announcement, Mosaic partnered with Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. on the planning and design of the new clinic.
Jon Rynish, senior project architect with Hoffman, said initial planning on the 31,000-square-foot project began in 2020 with a focus on creating a welcoming patient environment that optimizes care for patients and work spaces for staff.
The first floor, Rynish said, holds a waiting room, nurses’ station, exam and procedure rooms and imaging and staff spaces.
In addition to offices, conference rooms and employee work and lounge spaces, Rynish said the second floor features numerous classrooms that support the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency program, which is also housed in the clinic.
“Mosaic’s vision for the new clinic was a warm, welcoming environment where efficient patient-centered care would take place,” he said. “The interior does just that with a welcoming layout, architecturally integrated wayfinding elements and a central, open-concept hub for staff.”
Lee Vogel – who has been part of the Mosaic Family Health Faculty Team since 1990 – said the goal was “to provide the most effective care that works with our current care processes in a space that accommodates the greatest array of patient needs.”
“We went through an extensive planning and design process with Hoffman to ensure that the optimal healthcare environment for patients and staff alike was created,” Vogel said. “We couldn’t be more thrilled with the results and our partnership with Hoffman.”
The entire clinic, he said, was designed “to promote collaboration and to invest in sustainability and access.”
“It’s a beautiful new space for all,” Vogel said.
The Mosaic Family Health Clinic began welcoming patients in mid-December.
