NEWTON – The Town of Newton has broken ground on a new, 15,194-square-foot fire station to serve the Newton Fire Department and Newton First Responders – with Keller, Inc. serving as the project’s construction manager.
Per the release, the facility, located across from the existing station, will include vehicle bays, gear storage, training and meeting rooms, administrative offices and rest areas for firefighters.
When complete, per the release, the new fire station will enhance emergency response times, improve operational efficiency and provide a modern, safe and functional environment for the Town’s firefighters and first responders to serve the community effectively.
Construction is scheduled to begin this winter, with completion anticipated in summer 2026.
