Oconto plans ribbon cutting for new fire station

OCONTO FALLS – The City of Oconto Falls is hosting a ribbon cutting and a dedication for the new fire station from 11 a.m. to noon Aug. 7 at 431 Union Ave.

The new fire station is a $7 million project that was funded through an ARPA Infrastructure grant. 

Gov. Tony Evers has been invited along with Wisconsin Department of Administration officials, assembly and state senate officials, Zeise Construction, Wendell Architects employees and local residents.  

The public open house dedication is scheduled from 3-5 p.m. Aug. 25 at the fire station.
