Wello partners with GB Metro for its Yield to Your Neighbor campaign

GREEN BAY – To raise awareness around bicycle and pedestrian safety – Wello’s Yield to Your Neighbor campaign is working to promote yielding to help create a safer and more active Brown County. 

To help promote this message throughout Greater Green Bay, Wello – with the help of elevate97 – has wrapped a Green Bay Metro bus with the campaign’s logo through Jan. 31, 2025. 

Mario Gonzalez, strategic marketing and communications manager for Wello and the campaign lead, said the more the message can be seen, the more likely motorists will be aware, especially as the community prepares to see massive crowds for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Now in its fourth year, the Yield to Your Neighbor campaign was created in response to data collected from Wello’s Community Health and Well-Being Survey – residents identified bicycle and pedestrian safety as an area of focus to promote well-being in the community. 

Other efforts under the campaign include community members sharing personal stories through video of why the campaign matters to them, campaign marketing items and merchandise and the countywide Crosswalk Education and Enforcement – or “Frogger” – events in partnership with local law enforcement. 

The 2024 Yield to Your Neighbor campaign is supported by an ARPA sub-award from Brown County Public Health.
