MENASHA – Faith Technologies Incorporated™ (FTI), an engineering, construction, manufacturing and clean energy firm, earned first place in the Specialty Contractor division for companies completing more than five million work hours at the 2025 Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA), presented by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America.

Rocky Rowlett – vice president of safety at FTI and chair of the AGC Awards and Recognition Subcommittee – said this marks FTI’s fourth consecutive year winning in its division, reinforcing the company’s industry leadership and long-standing commitment to jobsite safety.

“This recognition is a direct reflection of the culture of safety our team fosters every day,” he said. “It’s not just about following protocols, but it’s about having a shared belief that safety is everyone’s responsibility. Our people take pride in looking out for one another, and it’s their vigilance that makes this honor possible.”

Rowlett said FTI was also one of the 23 national finalists for the AGC Grand Award, which it previously earned in 2010 and 2020.

According to agc.org, the annual CSEA program evaluates contractors across multiple categories based on total work hours, as a panel of five independent safety professionals representing government, corporate and insurance sectors reviews each submission.

Judging criteria includes leadership engagement, employee participation, training, hazard control and innovative safety solutions.

Rowlett said in 2024, FTI safely completed more than nine million work hours, achieving a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of 0.20, a Lost Time Incident Rate of 0.0 and an Experience Modifier Rate (EMR) of 0.38 – one of the lowest in the construction industry.
