APPLETON – Students seeking a business degree now have a streamlined and cost-effective pathway to a bachelor’s degree through new 2+2 transfer agreements between Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) and University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB).
Per the announcement, the agreements allow graduates of select FVTC associate degree programs to transfer up to 60 credits and enter UWGB with junior standing, ensuring no duplicate coursework.
Students can then complete one of four bachelor’s degree programs: management, marketing, business administration with a supply chain emphasis or human resources management.
Eligible FVTC programs include business management, marketing, supply chain management and human resources.
Scott Borley, FVTC dean of business and IT, said the partnerships are designed to save students time and money while expanding access to four-year degrees.
Once enrolled at UWGB, Borley said students also have the option to complete their remaining coursework fully online.
The first students are expected to utilize the pathway this spring, with college leaders highlighting the agreements as a step toward strengthening regional workforce development and expanding higher education access.
