WINNECONNE – The Village of Winneconne and the Winneconne Area Community Foundation (WACF) will host a groundbreaking ceremony May 6 at Marble Park to mark the start of the first phase of the Marble Park Reimagined Community Project.

Per the release, the first phase includes new playground equipment, additional pickleball courts, a basketball court, a shaded seating area and a new beach house and pavilion.

Construction is expected to be completed in fall 2026, with the project’s design being overseen by Rettler Corporation, with Miron Construction serving as construction manager for the beach house and pavilion.

According to WACF, Miron Construction Co., Inc., is donating the new beach house and pavilion as part of the project.

“Winneconne has always held a special place in our family’s heart,” David G. Voss, Jr., executive chairman of Miron Construction, said. “Miron is proud to invest in the park’s future and the families it serves.”

Village of Winneconne Administrator Logan Fuller said the project is a transformative investment for the community.

“We are deeply thankful to Miron for stepping forward to help reimagine this park for future generations, setting an example of the kind of partnership that strengthens and shapes our community’s future,” he said.

Per the release, WACF led fundraising efforts for the project’s first phase, securing 96% of funding through private donations, including support from several community partners.
