Matthew Day

Matthew Day is a staff writer, previously contributing to Northeast Wisconsin publications, businesses and agencies since 2012 and to The Business News since 2023. He’s earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, having double-majored in English and Film, and a technical diploma in digital marketing from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Matthew is also a professional musician, whose composition and performances earned him the 2024 Bay Area Music Awards for Original Artist of the Year as well as Album of the Year. He adores his wife and five children and enjoys reading, collecting vinyl records, hunting and bowling.
