Sharon Thieszen
Sharon Thieszen is the field services manager for NEW Water, the brand of the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District.
Thieszen – who has more than 30 years of experience in the municipal wastewater industry – launched her career as a lab analyst at the North Shore Water Reclamation District (Illinois) and worked her way through all facets of the wastewater industry, including leading the Sheboygan (Wisconsin) Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant facility.
She has served on multiple state (Illinois and Wisconsin) wastewater agency boards and committees.
Thieszen earned a bachelor’s degree in natural science and environmental studies from Bethel College in Kansas, an advanced wastewater operator certification and is an Envision Sustainability Professional.
