KOHLER – Big Joe’s Fuel & Go opened in early June at 820 Commerce Lane.
Nina Kohler, brand consultant to Kohler Co., said as a neighborhood fuel station and convenience store as a community gathering place honoring the legacy of Kohler native Joe Wolf.
Nina said the redesigned space blends fuel services and convenience offerings with features aimed at fostering connection, including a community bulletin board, outdoor patio, upgraded car wash and pet-friendly amenities.
The interior, she said, incorporates Carolina Blue and Kohler Blue Bomber blue design elements as a tribute to Wolf.
More than a traditional fuel stop, Nina said the business is intended to serve as a neighborhood hub for residents and visitors.
“Our intention with the renovation is for it to be a true cornerstone of the community once again – not only providing daily essentials for customers, but a place that effuses warmth, welcome and connection,” she said. “We believe Joe would love the space – welcoming every visitor to the village, friends old and new, a place to exchange stories and make one another feel at home.”
Nina said the store will offer grab-and-go breakfast items, coffee blends, beverages, malt drinks and gift items, along with standard fuel and convenience services.
