FOND DU LAC – Agnesian HealthCare Foundation has donated $9,680 to purchase four reclinable draw chairs for the outpatient phlebotomy area at SSM Health Laboratories.
According to Mason Gravelle, Agnesian HealthCare Foundation philanthropy director, the extra-wide chairs allow staff to safely recline patients who become lightheaded or faint during blood draws, helping reduce the risk of injury while improving patient comfort and supporting clinical workflows.
Gravelle said the equipment will help caregivers respond more quickly and safely to patients while enhancing the overall care experience.
“Patient safety and dignity are at the heart of everything we support,” he said. “This investment is a great example of how philanthropy directly supports frontline caregivers. By providing practical equipment that meets a real clinical need, team members can help make care safer, more efficient and more compassionate.”
Gravelle said the purchase was made possible through donor support.
