APPLETON – Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) is partnering with Ripon College to create a seamless path for students with an associate’s degree from FVTC to transfer to Ripon College with junior status to complete their bachelor’s degree.
The agreement was signed by FVTC President Chris Matheny and Ripon College President Victoria N. Folse earlier this month.
“This agreement opens exciting new educational pathways for our students,” Matheny said. “Students interested in starting their college journey at FVTC can now seamlessly transfer to Ripon College to pursue a bachelor’s degree. This partnership capitalizes on our close proximity and shared mission to provide students with accessible and affordable routes to success in higher education.”
FVTC began offering its university transfer degree programs in January 2023.
Matheny said the college currently has 377 students actively pursuing Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degrees.
These credits – each consisting of 41 credits of general education and 21 credits of electives – he said, will transfer to Ripon College and position students to complete an associate’s degree at FVTC and a bachelor’s degree at Ripon College in as little as four years.
