WISCONSIN – Van Horn Automotive Group has opened a newly constructed Honda dealership at 6100 N. Green Bay Ave. in Glendale, which is in the Milwaukee metro area.
President and CEO Jeff Niesen said the new facility reflects the company’s continued investment in customer experience and service capabilities as it grows beyond its Plymouth roots.
The new Van Horn Honda of Glendale replaces the former David Hobbs Honda facility, which served the region for nearly four decades.
Niesen said Van Horn acquired the dealership in 2023 as its first Honda franchise in the market.
A formal grand opening, he said, is planned for later this summer once final site work is completed, including an expanded lot with more than 450 parking spaces.
Niesen said the updated dealership features more than 45,000 square feet on the main level, a second floor and a significantly expanded service department with 31 bays – more than double the previous capacity.
Additional upgrades, he said, include indoor service reception lanes, a new-vehicle delivery area with EV charging and a redesigned customer lounge.
The Redmond Company, a Wisconsin-based design-build firm specializing in automotive facilities, led construction.
