GREEN BAY – Schneider National, Inc. recently acknowledged the safety-related career milestones of nearly 200 of its drivers.
Schneider’s annual recognition program celebrates drivers who have earned Million Mile Driver Awards, Consecutive Years of Safe Driving Awards and induction into the company’s Haul of Fame.
The awards are as follows:
Million Mile Driver: Drivers who have transported freight more than one million miles and remained accident-free. In 2023, 92 drivers met this milestone – with five of those drivers reaching four million miles.
Consecutive Safe Driving: 82 drivers earned this award by remaining accident-free for at least 10 years. The award is given for each five-year increment thereafter.
Haul of Fame: Drivers who have accumulated three million safe driving miles or 20 years of safe driving are added to the Haul of Fame. This year, 32 drivers met this criteria.
As of the end of 2023, President/CEO Mark Rourke said Schneider has nearly 1,000 active company drivers who have received either the Million Mile Driver Award or the Consecutive Safe Driving Award.
“Whether they’re first-time award recipients or seasoned safe driving award winners, we appreciate each driver’s dedication to our values,” Rourke said.
