APPLETON – Tower Clock Eye Center is expanding its footprint in Appleton to include a more than 7,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center that will focus on cataract, glaucoma and cornea surgeries.

The outpatient facility is located next to its eye clinic at 3142 North Richmond St. and is expected to open by late spring 2024.

Kurt Schwiesow, an owner and surgeon at Tower Clock Eye Center, said the new center will house two surgical suites, a procedure room, eight pre-op and recovery rooms, offices, storage rooms and adequate additional space.

This is the second surgery center owned and operated by Tower Clock Eye Center, with the other in Green Bay.

“Tower Clock Eye Center and Tower Clock Surgery Center have been providing quality patient-focused subspecialty eye care for more than a decade,” Schwiesow said. “We’re excited to bring that same level of care to patients in the Fox River Valley.”
