GRAND CHUTE – The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers introduced a new family-friendly attraction for the 2026 season with the addition of “Whifferball Field,” a dedicated wiffle ball play area for children inside Neuroscience Group Field.

Located behind the left field berm in an expanded section of the ballpark, Ryan Moede, the team’s vice president of business operations, said the fenced-in field features a custom wiffle ball diamond prepared by the team’s grounds crew.

Moede said the space is named after the Rattlers’ mascot, Whiffer, and is designed to give young fans a chance to play while attending games.

“Baseball is all about playing the game, not just watching it,” he said. “This new wiffle ball field lets kids do exactly that. Whether they’re playing a quick game or just playing catch, it adds a whole new level of fun and energy to the ballpark experience.”
