ST. CROIX – St. Croix Electric Cooperative (SCEC) was recently recertified as a gold-level Family Friendly Workplace by Family Friendly Workplaces.
SCEC CEO Rob Dooley said this achievement reflects the cooperative’s continued commitment to creating a supportive environment where employees can successfully balance their professional and personal lives.
“At SCEC, we recognize the importance of helping our employees maintain strong connections with their families and prioritize their well-being,” he said. “This recognition highlights our commitment to creating a workplace culture that values both family and community.”
Neil Kline, executive director of Family Friendly Workplaces, said the organization is “proud to certify” SCEC as a Family Friendly Workplace again.
“Their continued support demonstrates leadership in advancing family-first policies and helping employers in Polk, St. Croix and Pierce counties adopt family focused practices,” she said.
Kline said the certification process involves a comprehensive review of an employer’s policies and practices that support families.
By achieving this certification, SCEC can display the Family Friendly Workplaces logo, further strengthening its ability to attract and retain top talent.
Furthering its ongoing commitment, Dooley said the cooperative continues to provide annual contributions to various nonprofit organizations – including a donation to the Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley.
