GREEN BAY – KI has partnered with Indianapolis-based nonprofit Purposeful Design to offer handcrafted solid-wood tabletops for select Tributaire™ café and occasional tables.
Brady Roberts, VP of sales and marketing, said Purposeful Design provides job training and meaningful employment to individuals overcoming homelessness or addiction, producing solid-wood furniture that combines craftsmanship with social impact.
Roberts said the collaboration allows Purposeful Design’s work to reach a wider audience, blending purpose with design.
“Each table top we craft is a testament to resilience, transformation and beauty,” he said. “Through this partnership, our work gains a wider platform, allowing more spaces to benefit from craftsmanship that carries purpose.”
Melissa Jorgenson, senior product marketing manager at KI, said this partnership reflects exactly the kind of impact the company believes furniture should have.
“By integrating Purposeful Design’s wood tops into our Tributaire line, we elevate the aesthetic while supporting lasting change in people’s lives,” she said.
