MARINETTE – Veriha Trucking has been named a 2026 TCA Elite Fleet by the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA), marking the company’s second consecutive year receiving the recognition. The designation highlights carriers that demonstrate excellence in driver engagement, safety, compensation and operational performance.
The TCA Elite Fleet program – per tcaelitefleet.com – evaluates carriers across safety, driver satisfaction, turnover, benefits, equipment quality and overall operational efficiency, with input from company drivers used to validate submissions.
President Karen Smerchek said this recognition belongs to every person at Veriha Trucking – “from our drivers and technicians to our office team.”
“Safe, satisfied drivers are the foundation of safe roadways,” she said. “When drivers feel respected, supported and valued, they perform at their best, and that benefits everyone on the road.”
The Elite Fleet certification process, Smerchek said, evaluated Veriha across multiple dimensions of driver satisfaction and operational performance, with direct input from company drivers serving as a key component of the validation process.
“Elite Fleet certification validates that our driver-first approach isn’t just the right thing to do – it’s the right thing to do for safety and for this industry,” she said.
