FOND DU LAC – Aurora Medical Center-Fond du Lac is showcasing local stonework seen at the building’s entrance.
Leaders of Aurora Medical Center-Fond du Lac and Aurora Medical Center-Oshkosh recently gathered at the construction site to place some of the last remaining exterior stone, which is inspired by the local geologic formation known as “the Ledge” in Fond du Lac.
The stonework aims to create a positive and uplifting atmosphere for patients.
The facility will offer a total of 185,000 square feet of clinical space, including 10 new inpatient beds and an eight-bay emergency department.
Aurora Medical Center-Fond du Lac is expected to welcome its first patient in 2024.
