LITTLE CHUTE – Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. was selected to provide full design and construction management services for the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Community’s parish center addition project in Little Chute.
The project will include the removal of the current office complex, which was built in 1959, and the construction of a new 21,400-square-foot space to house parish center staff, including clergy members and financial and faith development staff.
It will also provide additional space needed for faith development and rentable space for gatherings, as well as improve outreach to the community.
“After an assessment of the existing building revealed it wouldn’t make financial sense for the Parish to remodel, they chose instead to move forward with the development of a new space,” Kurt Peeters, St. John Nepomucene parish member and Hoffman project lead and senior project architect, said. “The new Parish Center will connect to the existing building on two levels and will serve as the main mechanical hub for the adjacent, existing buildings, including the church.”
Construction of the current church building took place between 1860 and 1868.
