GREEN BAY — New Sage Strategies announced the expansion of its Women’s Leadership Conference by introducing the High School Girl’s Leadership Conference.

Vicki Updike, founder/CEO of New Sage Strategies and founder of the Women’s Leadership Conference, said the event — set to take place Oct. 3 at the Resch Expo — aims to empower the next generation of female leaders by addressing the urgent needs of high school girls today.

Updike said she is committed to empowering women at every stage of their lives.

“The challenges professional women encounter begin in our teenage years,” she said. “Ongoing research highlights the critical issues of belonging and self-esteem negatively affecting our teenage girls. Our responsibility as leaders is to guide the next generation toward becoming healthy, empowered adults.”

The High School Girl’s Leadership Conference is a half-day event from 8 a.m. to noon, tailored for girls ages 14-18, and will feature sessions, workshops and keynote presentations from experienced leaders and educators.

The complete conference schedule will be announced at a later date.

Registration is $50 per student.
