SHEBOYGAN – Van Horn Automotive Group’s new Kia dealership in Sheboygan is officially open for business.

Located at 3524 Wilgus Ave., Jeff Niesen – president of Van Horn Automotive Group – said the newly constructed facility is designed to provide customers with “an elevated car-buying and servicing experience, featuring cutting-edge amenities, expanded service capabilities and a welcoming atmosphere tailored to modern automotive needs.”

Niesen said the new dealership spans 23,500 square feet on the main floor with an additional 4,200 square feet on the second level.

Furthermore, he said the dealership and surrounding lot occupies a total space of 3.5 acres, providing enough room to park more than 200 vehicles.

Niesen said the facility features:

  • Private and semi-private consultation spaces for personalized vehicle selections
  • A full-service lounge with comfortable seating, a refreshment station and a large video screen
  • An 18-bay climate-controlled shop
  • A two-bay indoor service reception lane
  • Three service writing workstations

“With this new facility, we can provide an upgraded and more seamless experience for our customers while continuing to grow with the Kia brand,” he said.

With this transition, Niesen said Van Horn Ford of Sheboygan will continue to operate exclusively as a Ford dealership at 3624 Kohler Memorial Drive.

He said customers who previously visited Van Horn Motors of Sheboygan for used vehicle sales will now be directed to Van Horn Budget Auto (CarsFor15K), while Motors service customers will transition to the Kia of Sheboygan service department.

Van Horn Automotive Group plans to host a formal grand opening event this summer, he said, once the adjacent lot is complete.
