Walleye Weekend celebrating 45 years

FOND DU LAC – Fond du Lac Festivals, Inc.’s (FFI) 45th Walleye Weekend is on the horizon, set for June 7-9 at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac.

For its milestone anniversary, the largest, free festival in the region will be offering new entertainment this year, which includes:

• Dino Encounters (June 8-9) – guests will be able to get up close to a life-like T-Rex and participate in dinosaur-themed games, rides and fossil digs.
• Basketball Skills Competition (June 8-9) – basketball-related challenges for kids of all ages.
• Fiesta en Domingo (June 9) – two Hispanic bands will perform, and there will be an interactive salsa lesson.

Many of Walleye Weekend’s past events will be returning, such as Matt’s Magic Show, Wild World of Animals, Pier Pups, Grande FamilyLand and live music.

A variety of tournaments will also be happening throughout the weekend – softball, volleyball, cornhole, strongman competitions, a run/walk and family fishing tournaments.

Participants in the 2nd Annual Breakout Band Contest will have the chance to walk away with $500 cash and a contract to play Walleye Weekend 2025.
