SHEBOYGAN – As part of celebrating Women’s History Month, members of the Women’s Beer and Spirits Collective are collaborating for a fourth consecutive year to raise money for women-focused charities.
Julianna Pierandozzi – sales representative with 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. and co-founder of the Women’s Beer and Spirits Collective – said the collective includes 14 women, 10 beers, three spirits and one cider.
“This unique collaboration of female representatives in the beverage industry continues to brew interest, evolve and expand,” she said.
Last year, Pierandozzi said the initiative raised almost $20,000 for the Sojourner Peace Center, which has been the main recipient of the donations in prior years.
For 2025, she said the group’s efforts will spread monies raised to a wider selection of charities to benefit women, including:
- Lotus Legal Fund
- Wisconsin Women’s Network
- 9to5
- Pearls for Teen Girls
- Girls on the Run
- Sunshine Place
- Reproductive Justice Action Milwaukee
“There are so many charities in Wisconsin that benefit women across the state, and we wanted to make sure they get highlighted,” she said. “It also gave us an opportunity to work with the accounts involved in this fundraising collaboration to see if they had a personal connection to a particular charity.”
Pierandozzi said several taprooms and taverns will support the month-long fundraising campaign, with the establishments hosting almost 40 events through March 31.
As has been the case each year of the fundraiser, she said 3 Sheeps has again brewed Lady Lupulin, its Women’s History Month beer – which is available at 3 Sheeps, as well as several other participating establishments.
New for this year, Pierandozzi said the brewery has also released Pink Shoelaces – a blackberry fruited sour – available in mid-March exclusively at 3 Sheeps’ Sheboygan taproom.
