WISCONSIN – Allegiant Airlines recently announced the addition of a non-stop flight from Appleton to Portland, Oregon, starting June 15 and running until August 13.
The flight – which will run on Thursdays and Saturdays – is part of an eight-route expansion nationwide.
Abe Weber, Appleton airport director, said the Portland Airport is located within easy driving distance of the Cascade Mountain range, Mount Hood, Mount Saint Helens and the Columbia River Gorge.
“We are proud to partner with Allegiant to open up more vacation destinations for Wisconsin travelers,” he said. “It’s clear consumers in our state and the Upper Peninsula (of Michigan) are planning their vacations through the Appleton airport for the convenience of our non-stop flights.”
