GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Public Market (211 N. Broadway) recently the project’s capital campaign has surpassed its halfway mark, securing 60% of its $12.5 million goal.
The market will feature a minimum of 20 vendors that include both experienced business owners and entrepreneurs from a variety of industries.
On Broadway, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and will serve as the owner and operator of the Green Bay Public Market.
Brian Johnson, executive director of On Broadway, highlighted the Richard J Resch Foundation Ltd. as the project’s lead donor and will hold the naming rights for Resch Square.
Project completion is estimated for March 2025, which Johnson said allows the facility to open in time for the NFL Draft in Green Bay.
“This is an exciting time for this project as we surpass the halfway point,” he said. “We’re grateful to the Richard J Resch Foundation for its support as the market will bring catalytic change to the Broadway District. Our philanthropic community sees the value of this project and understands it is a public market with a public purpose.”
On Broadway, Inc. is currently accepting applications and signing leases for tenants that meet the desired profile.
