WRIGHTSTOWN — Turner Street Music Hall, located at 437 Turner St. in Wrightstown, recently announced it’s set to present the following music events:
The Broadway Bit: Cornerstone Jazz Combo Featuring Encore Singers — 7 p.m., March 9. $20 in advance, $25 at the door.Drumming Made Sacred: Indigenous Tradition for Healing, Joy & Community — 1 p.m., March 10. $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
In The Broadway Bit, the Cornerstone Jazz Combo will team up with the Encore Singers to perform some of Broadway’s biggest hits, including music from ‘Bricusse,’ ‘Bernstein,’ ‘Hamlisch,’ ‘Sondheim’ and others.
Drumming Made Sacred is an event that celebrates the Indigenous tradition of drumming as a means of healing, finding joy and fostering community.
This event, which is led by Crowsee Thomas, member of the Oneida Nation and citizen of Earth, brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds to highlight the transformative power of drumming.
Participants of this event must be 18 or older.
